Integrating Rich Media With SharePoint

Yesterday we had the second of the SharePoint Weekly Webcasts over lunch and I recorded that to make available for on-demand viewing. In yesterdays webcast we covered rich media integration with SharePoint. If you have ever tried using video embeds in the rich text editor in SharePoint then you know that SharePoint server side strips those embeds. There are many good reasons why from a security standpoint but from a training and video delivery standpoint it can be a hassle. In this video I cover two methods of integration that will allow you to embed video content right in a blog post or potentially wikis as well. Prior to the webcast it had been a looooong time since I had set either of these up and with a last minute fire drill I lost my prep/practice window which made for some live demo “fun.” As promised below are links to the content discussed in the webcast as well.
