As most of you know I am head over heels with the Podcasting Kit for SharePoint. Here at Microsoft we use it extensively for knowledge capture and re-use, training…. it absolutely rocks! With companies looking to lower their costs around training and information dissemination all in the face of increased demands around anywhere, anytime access it is no wonder that PKS is a hot commodity. Well as hot as PKS is and as hot as our own instantiation of it here at Microsoft, Academy mobile, is the folks who work on it are even better! (isn't that always the case. I think tech is cool but great folks are… well, GREAT! My good friend Paolo just posted a music video showing how to get started in audio and video podcasting using Academy Mobile. Now while the focus is Microsoft's Academy Mobile the concepts, ideas (like podcasting 101 on an SDcard) and the potential for change and excitement that PKS can elicit in an organization remain the same for any organization. Check out Paolo and all the great folks and ideas from Academy Mobile in this video (I think you will even see me pop my ugly mug up in a video clip and still shot in there somewhere ;-) Academy Mobile and the Podcasting Kit for SharePoint have received quite a few awards this past year and the best thing is if you own SharePoint then you already own the solution!
