Find the right resources at the right time
Each phase in the deployment lifecycle can be repeated multiple times. For instance, you may have already deployed SharePoint Server 2007, but with only a limited number of users and features. Now that you’ve seen the value, you want to deploy to a larger group and enable more advanced features.
You might need to get executive sponsorship to do this, or build a business case for your manager. You will definitely need to engage in some adoption activities to make sure your end users are getting the information and training they need to be successful. And you’ll probably want to build internal buzz around launch time.
We’ve provided the questionnaire below to help you find the right resources at the right time for your SharePoint Server 2007 deployment.
