Rather creating team vlogs that introduce the team and make use of company resources. How about video promos for your corporate Intranet, Internet site. Then use SharePoint to handle submissions and approval as well as displaying your content. To get started take a look at the tools you already have as well as other tools available for free from Microsoft. Windows Movie Maker (yes video editing and output ships with every Windows XP and Vista Machine),  Windows Media Tools (end to end tools for editing, outputting, and serving up streaming video from within your enterprise), Soapbox (free Internet hosting for videos which can readily be mashed up and served via Popfly, a Silverlight tool).
