Video: BackSeat Driving - InfoPath

Tiffany Songvilay is a gifted trainer who has helped a number of my clients here in the Southeast learn how to better leverage their investments in Office and SharePoint. I was extremely happy to hear that she was willing to jump in the backseat to discuss InfoPath and its uses with SharePoint as forms, and forms services, is a hot topic as of late. If you ever get a chance to engage Tiffany for training at your location or to attend one of her sessions I highly encourage it. You can learn more about Tiffany and her services at:

Infopath

I enjoyed the explanation of Infopath and uses for it. Would it be possible to providea demonstration video showing some of its uses?

Nice work Tiffany and Mikey :)

Great plug for the SharePoint conference at the end.  One thing to remember is that for Enterprise solutions - load test the InfoPath solution and make sure it can handle the user base :)

Getting data from AD

Thanks for the video - nice work.

Tiffany mentioned that Infopath can use information from AD without needing to use custom code. Can you provide any refference on how this is done.

Re: Getting data from AD

There is a good piece on MSDN about this titled Adding User Information from Active Directory Domain Services to InfoPath 2007 Forms http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb952744.aspx
