IE8 Features for Developers

This is old news by now, but I just realized I never published this post back in August 2008 when I started drafting it..

IE Developer Toolbar features are now built in.

Check out revamped "View Source" feature. It used to do nothing more than launch you into Notepad - you were pretty much on your own from there. Not anymore - now you get syntax highlighting, a cool incremental find and line numbers.

Woohoo!

Sam,

In IE8 you no longer have to download it. You will find it by going to the Tools menu (if you have the menu bar hidden, hit the Alt key) and select "Developer Tools" - or just hit F12

For older versions of IE, you need to download it: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=e59c3964-672d-4511-bb3e-2d5e1db91038&displaylang=en
