SharePoint Search Service Tool now available on CodePlex

A long time ago I managed to cajole Steve Peschka, who is a colleague of mine, into sharing with me the source code for a tool he built called the MOSSQueryTool. Since then I've added various enhancements to it in order to meet challenges I've faced.  Finally Steve and I have gotten our act together and posted it up on CodePlex.  If you need to experiment with complex SharePoint search queries, this is the tool for you.  It is basically a rich client for the SharePoint Search.asmx web service.  The target audience for this tool is mainly developers.  Please use the Discussions and Issue Tracker features of CodePlex to offer any feedback.  Enjoy!

Good to see...

Hey Larry, hope you are keeping well. I got a note from Steve that his tool had been moved up to Codeplex from its old home at GotDotNet. Somehow I missed it! Anyway, in the mean time I was inspired to put together a similar project, one that looks complimentary to yours as it is just OM, not Web Services.

It actually goes so far as it include its own OM for writing search queries, and a code generator.

Just thought I would let you know.
