June 2011 Cumulative Update Refresh

The June 2011 Cumulative Update has been refreshed with additional updates and fixes that resolve specific issues (see below) that were not included in the June 2011 Cumulative Update published between June 28th, 2011 and July 8th, 2011. We recommend customers install the latest June 2011 Cumulative Update to take advantage of these updates and fixes.

The latest June 2011 Cumulative Update will install on server farms with an existing June 2011 Cumulative Update installed, Service Pack 1 installed, or on environments where previous or no Cumulative Updates are installed. Issues resolved in the June 2011 Update Cumulative Update Refresh:

• Install fails on environments with .NET 4.0 installed
• Some services do not start when the June 2011 Cumulative Update is installed on environments following a least privileged model

Relation to SP1

I'm not clear: Is this CU update post SP1?

Is there a way to have TESTED Cumulative Updates ? I don't think this is good for the product , for custumers and the Partners to have to reinstall a CU or to find solutions to fix that.
I understand this is not easy, but please improve this issue, test the CU 3 or 4 days more.

Second refresh?

Is this a second refresh? There was also a refresh with KB 2536601.

This one is 33 MB, while the refresh from KB 2536601 is 117 MB.

Which one should we use?

It's not possible to setup an e-mail alert. Besides that, I believe there is nobody (from Microsoft) even taking the effort to answer the questions. 3 questions still open for a long time...

Very strange

I have installed SP1 and Cu. and also rund the hotfix on the same server. Still having problem with deleting the web and import the cmp ti spweb.
Once hotfix was installed, now when i start it says that the no similar product is installed.

some is very strange with these hotfixs and Cu's. Any help here?

June 2011 Cumulative Update Downloads

Should we install both the SharePoint Foundation 2010 and SharePoint Server 2010 on SharePoint Server Farm? I see that the SPS it around 1 Gb in size, while the SPF is only 30 Mb?

total confusion

Windows Update offers SP1 (as KB2510766). Why doesn't it offer this if the issues are so severe that you recommend installing this CU instantly after SP1?

And why do you suggest installing foundation first, then the server, when the server 2010 patch contains everything that the foundation 2010 patch has?

Should I even install SP1 or just skip ahead and install just this CU?
