Modern Web Experiences with SharePoint 2013

Re: Modern Web Experiences with SharePoint 2013

- language/variations; how does it work and how does the URLs look.

- More details on the automatic Dreamweaver (or whatever design tool) to Sharepoint conversion

- Demonstration of the reuse of contents, and how it inherits branding and navigation. What happens when the "master" contents is updated? Can editors break this link and customize/edit the contents locally? Does the editor get an alert, when the "master" contents is updated, even though the link has been broken?

- How does Managed Navigation work. Is it possible witin the same site collection to manage URLs underneath various domain names.

For example, can site-a.com and site-b.com live in the same site collection, and still keep their "parent" domain names; so that, for the visitor, the address line in the browser says: site-a.com/subpage/subpage2 and site-b.com/subpage/subpage2 respectively?

In previous versions of Sharepoint the only way of achieving this, would be to create separate Sharepoint webapplications (or develop heavy customization).

Are there settings to control the recommended items? Such as a user bings the keyword "surface" and ends up on the homepage of the site will you show recommended surface products? Can I show different ones based on IP, location, etc..?

Can you post the backup for the Contoso Electionics site so I can download it?

Explaining SharePoint 2013 new features and benefits

Josh,
I like the approach you have taken with the hypothetical company to illustrate some of the new features and benefits of SharePoint 2013.  Our company, Collective Intelligence, based in Harrisburg, PA is a Microsoft Silver Partner with a Microsoft compentency in SharePoint.  We are planning SharePoint 2013 customer events for the (state and local gov/t) the Commonwealth of PA and commercial firms for the February time frame.  Will Microsoft have the bulk of its SharePoint 2013 marketing collateral available by mid Feb?  Also, would Microsoft be interested in having a speaker participate in our events?  Please contact me at your convenience.  Thanks - John Schrock, Dir Business Development (717-545-9730)
