And that's just the SharePoint stuff...

When my Exchange account is in the cloud, this experience is even more "all about me" because it has my mail, calendar, and contacts!

Key Questions for Skydrive pro... Please Address

The thing all my clients want to see from Skydrive Pro is very similar to dropbox. I'm sure you've heard this before.

They want to save files to some standard folder on the local computer and they want a background service to take care of synchronizing those files with their personal document library on sharepoint.  Sharepoint workspace really frustrated a lot of my people, and caused them to hate the word sharepoint. They've moved to "Open with explorer", but that has many other issues associated.

Furthermore, they hope something inside Sharepoint 2013 can solve the long-standing and severe issue with Sharepoint document libraries on Office 365, which is that you cannot have any sort of permanent desktop shortcut, or mapped drive to a document library on Sharepoint Online which works consistently.  This is due in part to the well-documented SAML token issue, and issues with SSL/WebDav, etc.

Please indicate whether or not "Skydrive Pro" will simply let users choose a local folder to sync with Personal Documents on sharepoint.

Please indicate whether or not Sharepoint 2013 has any changes that will resolve the issues with Office 365 authentication and public document libraries.  Perhaps the local skydrive pro can simply keep the SAML token alive, or automatically reestablish it so that desktop shortcuts to document libraries and mapped drives don't just "break" permanently after the token expires.

If you can address these questions decisively, it will be appreciated.

Can we host Skydrive Pro in our own servers?

If we have installed Sharepoint 2013 server in our own servers, can we provide the Skydrive Pro functionality to our own staff using Windows 8 laptop and tablet, (also Windows RT tablet)?

Mega Menu in SP 2013 Global Navigation Bar

IN SP 2010 we have global and quick launch navigation.
In SP 2013 the new "Global" navigation bar includes Newsfeed, Sites, SkyDrive, etc.

Question: Can this new Sp 20103 Global navigation bar be modified, so that I can add, remove, or rename those links? In other words is it part of a site collection's master page that can be edited or is it system generated at the server and not meant to be edited?

Many blog posts discuss building a mega menu to appear roughly equivalent to Sp 2010 Global navigation location, which in my opinion is confusing and ideally left to the needs of current site collection. I'd prefer to build my mega menu as part of the space consumed by the Sp 2013 Global Navigation menu.

Any advise or suggestions?
